| Getting Tighter: Deep Purple (timeless) America What Time is Love?: KLF feat. Glenn Hughes (studio song but cracking vibe) One Nation Under a Groove (rocked up version): George Clinton/Parliament Superstition: Stevie Wonder (of course) Stop Funkin with My Head: Infectious Grooves (all homes should have a copy. Brill!) Fame or Golden Years: David Bowie (with a couple of riffs thrown in this could be a dancer) Shake the Devil or Post Toastee: Tommy Bolin (bit of prog laced wth funk) Urgent: Foreigner (another timeless classic pop) Show Me How to Live: Audioslave (but Cochise is cool) Rock the Casbah: The Clash (off beam maybe but then again AB does off beam) | |

Superstition: Stevie Wonder (of course) - would be great, but done soo often I guess Stop Funkin with My Head: Infectious Grooves (all homes should have a copy. Brill!) - haven't heard that stuff for a while, not sure which one - but bet it rocks !!! would be up 4 it !

| Rich, Infectious Grooves is Robin Trujillo's project (ex Metallica) It's from the album The Plague that Makes Your Booty Move. I was introduced to them by Megedeth's drummer (another Rich) who I jammed it with. It's a fun kind of song with a wicked lyric that grows on most people quickly. My copy is only 2.3 mb so can email it if you like or can be got from most dodgy DL sites. Infectious Grooves by Infectious Grooves is also worth a search.
Yeah I know what you mean about the Stevie track. Maybe Higher Ground? Or what about What the Fuss?

| Tommo - nice taste matey ! Yep - So What the Fuss would be great, already mentioned that one few weeks ago. Problem is, songs like that are a bit harder to get down as a band and sounding right than most "main stream rock" kinda stuff... if you know what I mean. I would love to do that though. | |

| Don't wanna miss a thing is a good song but I fear some are missing the point of a showcase song. It's mainly strings that come through in that song. What the lads are looking for is a gritty rock song that shows of the talent and skill of each band member. With that song no one would truely appreciate Col's cool bass lines (sweet emotion) Carl's out of this world guitar strumming, Rich's faster than lightening-can pick up any beat drumming and Lee's manly, sexy tones (the guy's got lung capacity!) Please suggest accordingly. | |
